First time selling scrap?

How it works

  1. Sort if you can. Separating copper, brass, aluminum and steel gets you a better price.
  2. Bring a valid photo ID. Texas law requires us to record ID for scrap metal purchases.
  3. Weigh and grade. We weigh on state-certified scales and grade your material.
  4. Get paid. We pay you before you leave.
Do I need an appointment?
No. Both yards are open to the public, and no appointment is needed. We need at least 24 hours’ notice for roll-off or flatbed service, but we can often arrange same-day pickups.
What do I need to bring?
A valid government-issued photo ID. If you’re selling regulated materials or a vehicle, call ahead and we’ll tell you what documentation is required.
Are prices the same at both yards?
Not always. Prices are set per yard and can change with the market. Our price lists show the date each yard’s prices were last updated.
Do you pick up scrap?
Yes, for commercial and industrial customers. We offer roll-off containers and flatbed pickup. Learn about commercial service.
